John Burke sensei sells these DVDs at £19.95 each.  He has produced these to explain how the moves from the kata can be used in close proximity, under stress, and featuring realistic types of attack (rather than spinning kicks that people on the street don't usually do).

Each DVD is approximately an hour long.  A seminar might be 4 hours and cost you £25-£50, but you can't rewind and you'd forget most of it the next day.  John Burke's seminars are taught across the UK and internationally.  His articles are featured in Martial Arts Illustrated, Traditional Karate magazine, and the online Martial Arts Times.
